Arber has been hitting Bruins... but he does seem to be trying to be better defensively... Maybe Dvorak has been showing him how to shoot... poorly Yes. , player development isn't always in a straight line. There will be ups and downs. Not asking for much, just get a shot on net ... the bar is low in player development nowadays |

They would be way better off to pretend Anderson isn't on the ice or he wears a Bruin jersey. Whatever it takes to stop passing him the puck because he is an offensive black hole

They are useless on the pp... wtf... how can guys with talent not generate anything... do they not practice the pp? I thought the PP looked good. The problems occured when #17 touched the puck. They had good puck possession and were whipping it around. Some good looks, just slow to shoot |

Some good looks, just slow to shoot Slow to shoot, looking for the perfect play and no one in front of the net, if a goalie like swayman can see it he will stop it. |

Matheson fails to make a simple play, possession turns over and ouch. Being challenged.
No goal but still a mistake.

Mathieson’s brain is mush at times. He gains the zone, has a guy wide open on the far side and passes it along the boards instead, where there is no on but Bruins. That is exceptionally stupid.

Matheson is feast (offense) or famine (defense) type d-man. It would be an incredible step forward if he could clean up some of his sloppy play but considering that he is about to turn 30 year old I am not sure if he is on the learning curve anymore. Clearly if Montreal was presently constructed to make the playoffs, Matheson would not be first pair guy, but the roster is what it is.
