I expect a win. I cannot understand how a team with a decent roster like Boston's (90-97 points) manages to look like a regular season juggernaut, even after losing two excellent centres. Their talent level is simply not that good and regression has to happen.

Seventeen, sure it seems a little counterintuitive how a roster that is, on paper at least, not among the league's best manages to get crazy good results. I guess it comes down to structure and sacrifice. Those guys just buy-in and do their jobs.
Apparently Harvey-Pinard is back from injury. Armia and Ylonen appear to be the scratches up front. The NHL Network is listing Caufield on Dvorak's line, along with Slafkovsky.
Despite the fact that Lucic is out, I could see a fight or two tonight.

Hopefully someone can crunch Marchand, but the rat has high level ice awareness so it is hard to catch him off guard. And we all know the only type of Hab that Marchand would be willing to fight is a smurf with no sandpaper like Rem Pitlick (that happened last season, no?).
With no Lucic, if things get spirited on a Saturday night with Original Six lore, maybe the fight card would look something like Xhekaj v Frederic and Pezzetta v Forbert.

That sucks. Newhook loses a board battle and it costs. That’s one area he can improve on. Getting stronger.

Despite the deflection goal, I thought MTL were the better team.
Some questionable decisions when they had open looks, but I think that's because they gave Boston too much respect

They had no sense of urgency on that 5 on 3 ... shoot and crash. But they tried to get the perfect pass
