Deadly boring. Zero excitement except for what was caused by ineptness
What's the over/under for the Habs goal scoring tonight?
I say we score 1 measly goal late in the game... I'll go with Kovacevic bouncing one in off a skate. ZZZ ZZZ

It's hard to say nice things and the games are getting harder to watch, I'm screaming at the TV more and then I change channels. I feel our team is not as bad as our record, I think the coaching staff have a lot of blame on their shoulder, player assignment, on PP and PK and the way thr D men are paired. The Habs were ALWAYS my escape from reality. For 3 hours and a bit after it was MY HABS. Constant loosing and mediocrity stole that escape. Even worse, right now I'm selling my buildings and company so that escape took an even larger role. Oh well...at least Mol$on is making money... |

Nothing much Barron could do there. A Habs forward relaxed in the neutral zone and Laine picked his pocket and was off to the races.
Columbus has been the better team after the initial 5-7 minutes of the game. If you look at the Blue Jackets' roster, their record is a little mystifying because they actually have a decent amount of talent.

It happens to the best of the them, but man Guhle has had a couple of terrible turnovers tonight and that one killed the momentum the Habs were trying to build after Newhook's goal.

Lidstrom, yikes. Take the frickin hit and shuffle the back along the boards to the other side. The panic satellite launch clearance on the backhand is not a play a 7-8 NHL d-man should attempt.

Watching Anderson had me thinking of Scott Gomez, he of the 60 games and a calendar year between goals, while collecting 7 million per.
Can Anderson do it? Probably not but don't rule it out! Man the last 20 years have been tough as a hab fan. So much mediocrity

Though the boys were outplayed for considerable stretches in places like Anaheim and San Jose (not even to mention LA), tonight caps off a successful road trip. This one in Columbus was a gutsy win. Montembeault stayed calm and focused (unlike Merzlikens at times). The boys kept attacking in the third period.

Don't disagree that was a bad play, but actually starting to like what i'm seeing. I thought he was horrinle a few weeks ago but he seems to be finding his stride. |

I'm really liking what Slafs is showing. Sure he's raw, but man he can skate and he's got hands and can be clever, and he's starting to use his size And the main thing is he's getting better. If he's only 19 now, what will he be like when he's 22, or 27?
