Wow, I forgot how many guys were involved in that trade. Montreal made out well since Hackett and Weinrich delivered some solid seasons. Doesn't Manson just look like a guy who you don't want to go into the corner with, man he played hard mean hockey.
Well, the boys have been playing pretty well of late. Considering they played last night, I think being ready in the first period is imperative. How about getting a lead and then building on it.
I assume Allen is starting, but I have not heard anything. I hope Armia is in the press box. Or else put Monahan at center and scratch that Stephens guy.

Montreal started okay, but the final 8-12 minutes of the period were atrocious. The Blackhawks looked super fast and swarming because of all the golden chances they got, but in reality it was a product of Montreal's gaffs and totally nonchalant defending.

Montreal is making Dickinson look like 2011 Patty Kane. And it is not just Barron and the blueliners looking foolish tonight. The forwards are literally not in the picture in some of these turnover/odd man rush situations. They are blowing the zone too early and not hustling back.

Which leads to less goals and more assists. If his shoulder was affecting his game, he shouldn't be out there Plus last year his shooting percentage was 16.5%, which was unsustainable |
