Last year, when we were actively tanking, we only managed to trade Nate Schnarr and cap space. Until that trade I doubt 95% of Habs fans knew he was a Hab.

We acquired Frederic Allard, Tony Sund, and a San Jose 5th rounder.

Barring another injury I can't see Monahan playing out the year in a Habs jersey. The combo of his salary and expiring contract gives him value to many teams. With the injuries, I think his departure would have a noticeable impact.
