Indeed, plenty of history between the two franchises. Unfortunately, the current realities could not be more different.
I wonder who Bednar sees as the bigger dog (Montreal or Ottawa) because one would assume in a back to back scenario he starts Georgiev in the tougher game or their no name scrub backup in the other game.
Roy already got sent back down? Okay, that quick.
This will be a tough and busy week (four games in six nights). The already depleted roster may just start to get exposed, which perhaps is already in the process of happening, though thanks to Habs goalies it is not yet reflected on the scoreboard.

I would say there's more quality offensive talent in Ottawa so Bednar may save his number 1 guy for them.
I dont think it matters though. After a bad 1st period last night Colorado turned on the jets & scored 5 straight goals to win in regulation. Keefe was extremely sour after thd game.

Habs/Avs is a national game tonight. No blackouts. Woohoo. Be sure to catch The Fan pregame along with hockey central to get your dose of leaf cheerleading, then watch the game on leafsnet to get the Gary Galley love in for any team playing the Habs.

Habs/Avs is a national game tonight. No blackouts. Woohoo. Where I live the Habs are on TSN2 but always blacked out. Tonight the programming morons at TSN have decided to show early round coverage of the Australian Open. Early rounds , not the semis or the finals. Who watches the early rounds anyways. So even if the blackout is lifted , I cant watch.

Be sure to catch The Fan pregame along with hockey central to get your dose of leaf cheerleading, then watch the game on leafsnet to get the Gary Galley love in for any team playing the Habs. And they just talked about the big hits Slaf has absorbed due to his lack of awareness and unfamiliarity with not being the biggest player. Then they suggested hiding him on the 4th line. Have they watched any Habs games recently?

MacKinnon and Maker dominated that shift. Great jot by Struble to clear the zone

Matheson is Savard dumb... he steals a puck in the O zone and instead of looking for a pass because he has a guy covering him he takes a low percentage shot on net that my daughter, when she played peewee would have stopped...

Turns out the habs play a diamond not a box that's why it was guhle with 2 guys, From the replay I saw Colton was behind him You're right, but guhle had to cover a guy on each side of the net... teams send to guys to the net and the diamond is screwed
