I accidentally went to an October thread and we were saying the exact things we are saying today. Injuries bad luck close. #17 is big, fast, carries the puck over the blue line and either shoots into the crest from far out, goes to the half board and gives up the puck. He reminds me of a bishop in chess. Goes from one end to the other quickly but is useless when out of position only covering half of the board.

There is a Monty Python skit called The Bishop. Pretty funny stuff as I remember.
Maybe they can do a skit about Anderson. None of us would laugh though.

Weak ezz call on Xhekaj. Wood wants to stand around whacking away in the danger zone and a mammoth d-man who weights 230 lbs knocks him down and it's a penalty, okay whatever. I have a feeling Manson can do the same thing and refs will not call anything.

Maybe if the referees in this league had to explain themselves as in other leagues, there might be more accountability and better officiating. Now they walk away after a game without ever saying a word.

Anderson looked like he had a good look at the top of the circle and he just goes down easily without taking a shot. Finding new ways to be ineffective. Not that an injury makes his lack of hockey sense any different/worse, but the way Anderson is skating and just looking kind of rigid in general, I would say he has an abdominal strain. Montreal coaches/doctors have a track record of letting guys try to soldier through when the truth is the next man up may as well get the call. |
