Looks like Slaf is back and he'll be on the 2nd line with newhook and armia

So he's lost his spot on the 1st line because of injury?

So he's lost his spot on the 1st line because of injury? I think it's to ease him in and to help Dach continue gaining confidence also when Demidov comes over, he might take Slafs place eventually Cc-Suze-Demi Laine-Dach-Slaf Impressive top 6

So he's lost his spot on the 1st line because of injury? If I was coach, this would be my lineup tonight Caufield - Suzuki - Heineman Newhook - Dach - Slafovský Anderson - Dvorak - Gallagher Kapanen - Evans - Armia Oh and tonight is Shane Wright's first game at the Bell Centre

If he's not on that top line right now, it's for other reasons, probably that Dach is producing on the top line and he needs to find his game before he can go back to centre and drive play. Right now I don't think he has yet gotten back to pre-injury Dach. You need to be confident and sure about your physical and mental ability to be a top centre in the NHL. Marty is just trying to get him there before he places those responsibilities on him. Another factor might be taking some pressure off Slaf until he's fully healed, and he fact that he can drive possession and creativity on a line with two guys who are better at the other parts of the game.

Curious to see what they'd be like together though. As for Demidov, I wouldn't start him on the first line until he gets used to the physicality and speed of the NHL game.

I agree about Demi but I don't think he'll take long to adapt... I think he's got Lane type IQ and vision, that allows those guys to adapt quickly

He had the goalie completely faked out and set up an empty net goal **EDIT If not, have a look at this vision

The first two games last year Dach was centering a line with Newhook and Slafkovsky. They dominated.

Slaf says he is 100%. Also says it wasn't a shoulder injury, but something weird he's never heard of before. Marty says he is putting Slaf on the second line to try and help get it going

One of the most frustrating things this team does is when they have the puck at the defensive blueline, they don't skate it out, they chip it to the middle and it almost always gets picked off or misses the pass and it's kept in. It has to be something they go over in practice, because everyone does it. What baffles me is how often it causes them to be hemmed inside their own blueline. And all it takes is one stride before making that chip pass

They're so slow out there. Losing faceoffs and then standing still as Kraken players blow by them.

Maybe it's time for a timeout Sometimes I wish MSL had a little more Torts or Maurice in him. Call a timeout and yell a blue streak
