Man, some refs just need to hear their own whistle. Newhook's penalty was so, so soft. It's almost like "complain to the linesman about the icing call huh?. We'll teach you". We need a rubber bullet sniper in the crowd to provide natural consequences on the spot for bad calls.

they've lost a bit of oomph with that 5th goal. In Hindsight perhaps Monty should have come out earlier, but 2 of those goals were deflections, the third a bad giveaway so maybe he earned more time.
If Primeau can give the team some confidence, I'm not counting them out. They are a resilient bunch, but tough to come back from 4 down.

That last icing is a good example of what they're not doing...namely supporting each other. The defenseman had no one to pass to, it's icing and it's 6-1. Time to call it a day.

I’ve stopped watching and am just looking at the box score but it never ceases to amaze me how this team can play with Toronto, Ottawa, St.Louis … teams that are suppose to play with grit . Yet when it comes to the soft finesse teams we struggle big time. MTL is suppose to be a soft finesse team for **** sake.
It goes to show you that the team as constructed can not skate with fast teams.

Are the Kraken a more talented veteran team? Nope. They have a real veteran coach who has them prepared and a group who know how to play from the first drop of the puck.
This team needs a shake up in the worst way.
MSL needs to be moved to player development and then bring in a true coach to teach systems and kick some ass when needed

It takes the first unit 54 seconds to finally gain the o zone . 54 SECONDS. Then Dach immediately gives it away. I fail to see why they keep putting him on the PP. They’d be better served using 2 D on the PP

All you need to know…. A .652 save percentage tonight. Sure, lots of mistakes, but goalies have to stop pucks. Seattle only had 23 shots on goal.
