I almost didn't record this one. Just watched the highlite...is Hutson on the 1st PP now? He's the only reason to watch

I see Primeau’s save % at .700. Has he been tested with difficult shots or is he just an AHL goalie? No big saves to speak of. Sabres goals. Thompson in close, deflection, and a nice shot on a 2-on-1. Primo chances, Primeau can't do much.

These guys can't even make a simple pass... they panic whenever an opposing player comes near them

Right out of the blue...
Dach to Slaf to Suzuki. Nice backhand pass from the boards by Dach to start it off. Dach to Slaf to Suzuki.
4-3 Habs.

Primeau will need to have a big third.

Suzuki's 2 goals give him 114 career goals, ties him with Donnie Marshall for 51st all time (Habs list)
Suzuki's 3 points tonight give him 302 career points, ties him with Doug Risebrough for 49th all time (Habs list)

I keep seeing our guys with little support from teammates. Nic pickup off his skates by Slaf to feed Suzuki.
Another good play by Slaf. And thanks to Ukko Pekka Alphabet too.

So that’s an odd line. Slaf Suze Dach. It was put together in practice but seems odd with two guys who both play RW. Is it the combo or was it just time that the better guys break out?

Thompson missed most of the period. Always helps to have the best player off the ice.

Let's use the reverse double hybrid triple cut-back penetration defense in the 3rd.
So much confidence in our systems...🤐

I just dont think Primeau will be any more then a back up in the NHL. If they put him on waivers I dont know if anyone would take a chance with him.

You have to be willing to work hard every shift, want every puck, skate and be on every opponent to win games
This team is not willing to put in that work, they keep waiting for someone else to make the play and coast and stick check, and practice Olympic swimming / diving drills on the ice. That's a heart issue, not a talent issue.

Yeah. Five goals against in a game is, absent a collapse from the team, inexcusable.

5-5. Hutson with good work deep in the o-zone...then a nice setup to Heineman, who moves into the high slot and lets it rip. Nice goal.
Sabres are out-workable today.

Hutson started that with a surprising forecheck. How he can steal pucks from bigger players is amazing.

EDIT: Buffalo challenging for a hand pass.
