Sheesh I’m defending Anderson. On that last offside, Dvorak looked like he was stretching to push the puck over the blue line but pulled it back and put Anderson offside. On that play did you notice how slow Dvorak was in ‘breaking’ up the ice?

Where is the support from the forwards... they haveto give the D options If the forwards aren't there, then you don't skate behind the o zone net ... and if you do you don't force plays or make blind passes because you should have a forward now on defense, but with MTL, that's not always a guarantee He is a rookie, these are easily coached out of him and he will be a good player. But let's not give him an excuse for every mistake he makes while crushing the rest of the D ... I could list you a number a analytical reasons why Hutson is not on PP1, trying to make SportsCenter highlights Everytime he touches the puck is just 1 of a few Most giveaways on team Weakest shot on team His shot is not that accurate - he hits the net about 1 in 6 attempts But reasons to be on the PP1 He is a great passer He tends to attract more than one defender - which is good if he doesn't cough the puck up Oh as I'm typing Matheson blast from Hutson, tipped in by Anderson |

Color me not impressed At this point, they needed a win. This isn’t a good team, and I am thrilled about another top pick in June, but I really want this team to be fun and progressing this year. So far, not very much. |
