Evans is what he is. Great 4C and PKer. Adequate 3C on a team with no legit aspirations to make make noise in the spring. He plays second line minutes and puts up third line numbers.
I like this guy and believe that he is a great mate and worker. But there is no universe in which I would sign a four year/12-14 million contract for him. Let some other team go down that road since Montreal has Beck and Kapanen knocking on the door.

I stay away from gambling in all of its forms. But if I had to wager I would say the Oil going to get rinsed tomorrow night in Ottawa. Their stars played crazy minutes on Saturday in Toronto and even crazier minutes tonight and with the third game in four nights, Knoblach should be very afraid of the looming game.
