I think Michalek is the biggest risk of the top prospects. Just not nearly enough upside to go with the size and skating. I'd pass on him right through to pick #20 or so. Nice of TSN to give us the biggest dog of the top 15. Let's fool them.

I agree...I absolutely want Michalek gone by the time we pick..I hate wasting a top 10 pick on someone who has 'limited offensive upside'. 10 minutes to go..

Yessir!!! KASTSITSYN !!
He is considered a high-risk, high-gain choice. But if AS and BG choose him, I'm pretty sure it's because they are absolutelly convinced he doesn't have a serious medical condition.
Way to go!

Dr. Mulder has done some pretty amazing work for the Habs, in recent years. I have 100% confidence in his assessment.

I'd like to be proven wrong, but no way in the world we're moving up to get another pick in the 1st Round. Just not the Habs' style in recent years.

Carter goes to Philly Is Kasty a LW or RW? I have seen different reports... I remember him being able to play all three forward positions. But I could be wrong. However, it wouldn't be too surprising as often europeen players learn to play on different positions. Michaël

Piston must be some disappointed, with the hated, spending Rangers, taking LA's target choice.

I'm pretty happy with the pick I think it will be high reward for the Habs. Very sad news about the passing of Roger Nielson,I had the pleasure of meeting him at last years draft. He was truly a hockey pioneer and all around great human being. HFTO
