Trivia question:What happened ten years ago today? [January 29, 2000] Hint:~seriously, I thought he was dead Trent McCleary got hit in the throat with the puck!! I remember bawling my eyes out that Therrien had killed Trent. I was rather hysterical. I tend to cry at almost anything that might be considered sad [or sappy, I *sometimes* cry during commercials if they're moving enough], but for once Mr. Val figured the situation was serious enough so he just let me cry instead of telling me to stop being so foolish... *** Trivia question:Former Hab. You like those lads from Speedy Creek, eh? Heh, not my fault a lot of these guys seem to come from that neck of the woods. The most time I've spent in SK, I think, would be about 12 hours (passing through on the way to NS, back in July 1987 and we stayed overnight, which is why it took 12 hours) *** Trivia question:Former Hab. I can only imagine having two of those meats going minus on a nightly basis for our blueline... Paul Mara's brother did not amount to much, playing all his "pro" games with Colgate University (NCAA). And hey, Paul was a number 7 pick, so someone, somewhere, at some point, thought he had a lot of potential *** Trivia question:This young man was a fan of the turtleneck [that's a thinly-veiled hint, btw].
