Trivia question:Former Hab. He won a silver medal for his country the year prior to being traded to the CH. He also won 2 silver medals for his country after he left us. Who is he? This is a total guess ... but I'll give you my logic. I think the player in question is Swedish because the Swedes have won something like 20 silver medals in the World Hockey Championships (most of any country I think). Jonas Hoglund? Sorry don't know his middle name ...

The only think I can find so far is a misprint on a few sites saying Bonk was traded twice. He wasn't traded by the Canadiens to Los Angeles, it was from Ottawa.
"Canadiens trade Radek Bonk to Los Angeles for a 3rd round pick.
Los Angeles traded Radek Bonk and Cristobal Huet to Montreal for Matthieu Garon and a 3rd round pick (Paul Baier)."
Lol but it doesn't matter he was traded twice..lol .. I am such a dumbass sometimes.

Don Awrey played 72 regular-season games, and John Van Boxmeer played 46 games.
However The official rules says that players must play in the playoffs to be included on the Stanley Cup.
But they did prompt the NHL to change the rules and now any player who plays 40 or more regular season games for the winning team, or 1 game in the Stanley Cup must be included.
