Clutterbuck to Isles for Niederreiter I just mentionned that one in the draft scuttlebut thread. I don't get it. A 3d liner for a highly rated prospect. I'd have happily given the 34th pick for Neiderreiter, and I think it would be better value... I agree.

9th overall for Corey Schneider The RDS guy is ticking me off, mentionning that Vancouver moved from 24th to 9th, as if they'd given their 1st rounder in the deal.

I like the green. Gives the league a variety of colours. Looks worse on tv. It's like they took the first Whaler jersey, removed the blue for black, and then put a logo on it that could have been come up with by anyone but they likely paid a marketing firm scads of money for.

Not surprised Morin went. He's only getting better. He's a riser. He'll have to pick his spots for fights more at the NHL level, but he's an imposing figure. Should fit the Flyer mold well.

Max Domi to Yotes - or whoever they'll be in September.
Didn't realize he's diabetic. Have there been others who've played with it?

Islanders also get the 70th overall pick this year in the Nino deal.

Good friend of mine is type 1. He had the experimental platelet surgery to attempt to more naturally control his blood sugar levels. There will be a second operation, but it's working quite well.

Here's a few more names of diabetics in sports you may be familiar with:
Hockey: Nick Boynton, Cory Conacher, B. J. Crombeen, Baseball: Ron Santo, Jackie Robinson (as if he didn't have enough to deal with) Football: Jay Cutler Tennis: Arthur Ashe
All of the above have/had Type 1 except Ashe, who had Type 2.

Davidson had a good drafting track record while in St. Louis. He chooses Wennberg.

Guys I apologize for those tables ....I hit create instead of save changes ..I'll delete them Whoa, I didn't mind having them repeated, so I didn't have to go back to the first page to see who went where. BTW, thanks for the great job there, Skilly.

May be right skilly. Hopefully they have a sense of who's interested in who, and whether they can make a move up that makes sense to ensure they get the guy they want. Berg has said he wants to move up.

Berg has said he wants to move up. Don't know why but I got a feeling it's going to be Ryan Hartman for us if he's still there. Just seems like a Bergevin, Timmins type player. Character and hockey sense.

Wings trade 18th to Sharks for 20 and 58. Sharks continue their trend of moving up in drafts.

So who does San Jose like so much they're giving up their 2nd rounder to move up 2 spots? We shall see.
