I think there's something wrong with his knee. But....win one Cup and what's a blown knee? You won't notice it at all until you're 40 and by then they'll have automatic wheel chairs

I haven't watched a lot but if Kane & Toews don't produce points then Chicago is done.

Hedman moves up as he does so well....finds Paquette in the slot....Cumiskey and Sharp can't tie him up. 3-2 Bolts with just over 3:00 to go. Game over: Bolts up 2-1. Horseshoes, I tell ya. Hawks with a bit of Hab-itis....no finish. Chicago's defence is really being tested, as Oduya was injured tonight on a slew foot by Kucherov. Keith played over 31 minutes.....Seabrook was almost 27. on his breakaway, Kucherov also slew foot Seabrook to get a clear breakaway. Very dirty player.

TBay has had a lot of PP opportunities, and Chicago has hit a few posts. Game's only 1-1 right now.

Chicago was very very tentative in the first. They did look better in the second. Seabrook looks gassed.

Big road win for Hawks. Vermette with 3rd game winner these playoffs. Hawks show in third the right way to protect a lead. Persistent and effective forecheck from bottom six all period. It gave the Bolts fits.

Losing Kucherov in the first didn't help the Bolts. And Johnson apparently has had a tender hand/wrist for a couple of games at least.
I'm cheering for Chicago anyway….just to spite Hockey Night in Tampa.
Can't wait for the Ben Bishop iso-twinge series to be over.

Yup, I'm cheering for anyone but Healy. Whoever he likes, I'm against.
ABH.

What a miscue on the first goal. Bishop comes out to play the puck...not sure why. Collision; Sharp scores.

I wonder sometimes, if Bishop has any hockey IQ or whether he's just enormous. He plays the puck quite well, but I hate how he blocks out players, knowing he can't be touched. Id like that rule to be limited. If the goalie is going to play the puck and act like he's a skater, he's fair game like all the other skaters.

Ben (Humoungous) Bishop kicks out a rebound right to Vermette, who made him pay. Cripes, his pads are taller than DD. Is that fair? Put Dryden's equipment on him and see how he does.
I haven't been watching the games, so this is total projection, but I suspect Johnson is playing with an injured hand or wrist. Didn't he have that against us at one point? Kucherov jammed his shoulder/neck when he ran into the goalpost in the first and missed the rest of the game. the Sportsnet panel is speculating that Pat Kane is hurting because he was invisible tonight.
I wonder if Quenneville has figured out Cooper's system or if it's just injuries or good talent up against Tampa. They haven't been scoring against the Hawks like the did against everyone else. In the early games, I noticed that the Hawk forwards were watching for a trailing TB player to sneak into open ice and were able to tip a few passes away from the danger zone. Don't know how that's worked out the last 3 games, because I haven't been bothered enough to watch.

I guess you can ride a hot goalie & good D. Chicago has scored only 2 goals in 4 of the 5 games yet lead the series 3-2. Kane isn't scoring but neither is Stamkos who only has one assist in this series.

He's no longer as dramatic when he get grazed by a passing skater.

Yup, I'm cheering for anyone but Healy. Whoever he likes, I'm against. ABH. If Healy wasn't so sarcastic and belittling of a player having a bad first period, he wouldn't have to eat his words when he's forced to narrate a highlight pack of that same player in the third period. Otherwise, I don't mind his insights at all. I like the candour.

Oduya's been playing defense with one arm. Often he's playing the puck around the boards with one hand on his stick. Not sure if it's shoulder, elbow or what. Johnson definitely can't shoot. Hawks PK is all but leaving him alone out there. He can't take faceoffs either. Hawks have played most of the playoffs with 4 D, and now Oduya's hurt. Don't think they'll be very sympathetic.

Curious to see how this turns out. If Chicago wins, it will likely be ugly. Tampa knows that they essentially gave Game 5 away and are looking for some redemption tonight.
Chicago won its last two cups on the road and in each of those cups, they both won in Game 6. Curious to see if home ice, up 3-2 means anything.
Tampa in 2004 went back to Calgary down 3-2 and we all remember what happened there.

The Cup will finally be in the building. I guess I may have a peek late in the game.

I'm expecting the Blackhawks win by 3 or 4.
Hoping for such an outcome, too.
Toews and Kane are due to have a big game and should be more than motivated to win it all at home.

Bishop say's he's feeling a lot better today. Kucherov is apparently going to play as well. We'll see what sort of impact they have.

I want a Hawks blow-out. I haven't watched much since the Habs went on vacation (I mean after game 6 v the Bolts, not while they were still on the ice but not looking very attentive), but I'm home tonight and will probably keep my eye on the game. C'mon, CHI, just put them away.

I expect TB to win. Every time they're counted out, they win.

0-0 after one. Shots 13-4 Chicago.
Wow - thought TB would muster a little something with so much on the line.

BAM! score and win. that first Hawks PP (did they have more than one? I had to go) looked to much like ours at time. puck movement, opportunities . . . nuthin'.

Stamkos did have a crossbar early. Shots are a little flattering. 5-0n-5 it's been close. Hawks have generated some great chances on the PP, but no finish yet.

Keith with a late one. 1-0 Hawks. Bishop with a juicy rebound off a soft shot, Paquette let Keith waltz through, and Sujstr was out of position. Bishop looked to be trying to play rebound off to his defender.

Keith puts in his own rebound. A d-man shouldn't get that much space, let along a second change.
Seabrook hits the post on a late PP. Huge third coming up.
