One more out there ... is he over the concussions ...
Pierre LeBrun @real_ESPNLeBrun Jeff Skinner's name out there quite a bit. Four more years at $5.725 M cap hit ($6 M salary). Carolina definitely open to moving him.
Cheers.

If they would take a deal that includes Gilbert and Parenteau, we might be able to make it work (those assets in addition to something they actually want, like kids or picks...)

Geeze I like this ... not so sure about Vegas as a potential spot, but the awards show is coming from there ... sigh ... wouldn't mind seeing Quebec back in the league ...
NHL EXPERT PICKS @nhlexpertpicks 5m5 minutes ago No surprise here but per Gary Bettman: interest from big 3 ownership groups for expansion is #LasVegas #Seattle #QuebecCity.

Thomas and Andrighetto have close to no value IMO. If we want a proven NHLer we'll have to give someone like Sherbak or McCarron.

Also, Skinner is listed as a LW. Unless Galch is traded or moved to center ( and neither move appears imminent) then Skinner won't be a fit (unless he can play RW, essentially)

Skinner has a history of serious concussions. I'd stay away. Agreed! He's also coming off of career lows in a relatively healthy season. Looking at his career averages he's pretty close to what Gallagher gave us last year, at a much higher price tag. Too risky IMO.

Too risky IMO. thought he was concussion-prone and out a lot, but he played most games the last 2 seasons. I'd still stay away, though.

MB is in tough .... Aside from Galchenyuk Habs don't have much in wow factor players to give up and they have only a few picks this year..... Not holding my breath here in the great Pumpkin Patch of hope.

Boston entertaining offers on Milan Lucic ... LA was one club but they couldn't free up the cap space ... some rumblings about the Bruins possibly of acquiring Arizona's #3 ... the Coyotes need to take on salary ... Penguins possibly interested in Jeff Skinner ...
Cheers.

Skinner would likely be a consolation prize if they can't work out a deal for Kessel. If the Pens trade Maatta, they're nuts.

Looks like kings have signed Toffoli to 2 year bridge deal. Should come in a little over $6 million total.

29 other GMs are interested in Logan Couture ... but why would San Jose even consider trading their best player?? Can't see that either, Skilly. It has to just be one of those goofy rumours. He was a strong consideration for the Olympic team, he's a clutch player and he's a leader. He's Jonathan Toews not so lite, and the Sharks are looking to deal? I'd give a chunk of our team for him.

Looks like Bruins may shop Hamilton. Contract negotiations not going well, and there's a significant threat that the Oilers will offer sheet the player.

All I can say is what the heck are GMs drinking today. Berg, start dangling some guys today lol!!

If there is any credibility to the tweets that Montreal and Pittsburgh are the heaviest in pursuit of Sharp, at least a certain GM has identified additional scoring as something he is looking to address this summer. The one thing is though that the Berg does not have a history of chasing and overpaying.

The one thing is though that the Berg does not have a history of chasing and overpaying. He is one year off from a 78 point season but man that $5.9 million dollar contract looks real big when you have only $5 million in cap space with a significant RFA still to sign.. Doesn't pass the smell test IMO
