That takes 0% fear and 100% equilibrium. My acrophobia gives me vertigo just looking at pictures like that one. For example, there's no way I would do the CN Tower Skywalk, not even in an altered state….nor have had a career as a high-rise window washer.

That takes 0% fear and 100% equilibrium. My acrophobia gives me vertigo just looking at pictures like that one. For example, there's no way I would do the CN Tower Skywalk, not even in an altered state….nor have had a career as a high-rise window washer. I don't do heights well either ... I loved visiting the medieval castles when I lived overseas but there were some parts of them I simply wouldn't go to ... saw a class of pre-high school kids (don't what level that would be in Germany) visit the local castle (Geroldseck castle) in the area we lived ... they were running along the top of the remaining walls ... that would be probably 30-35 feet high ... no railings ... once they got to the end they'd slow down and gradually turn around and run back to staircase (that had railings) ... I couldn't handle watching those kids, so Mrs Dis and I started towards the car ... on the way there, we saw a kid who lost his footing on a grown-over portion of another wall (a stone gave way) and he fell about 12-15 feet ... the first thing out of his mouth when he knew he was going for a ride was "mommy"... WUMP!! ... he jackknifed when he hit the ground ... I ran over to see if he was okay ... he actually got up and was covered in his own snot ... so, he literally had the snot knocked out of him ... I asked him "Wie geht es dir" (how are you) but I can't remember his reply ... his teacher eventually showed up and that was the point where she got the kids off the walls and back into some semblance of order ... I told the neighbours about it after and they said that teenagers still take their beer and drink it while sitting on the highest walls (~ 50-60-ish feet) ... my palms sweat just thinking about it ... can't remember if I went back to the castle after that ... edit: here's the highest wall to Geroldseck Castle ... there are handrails on the staircases, but not on the walls ... Cheers.
