Lots has happened in the lead up. Stamkos stays put. Hall for Larsson. Subban for Weber. Looks like Weise to FLyers, 4 years and just over $10 million.

Term is a huge concern for some of these deals, but Lucy wanted to be with the likes of McDavid and play with Chia. Loui wanted to play with the twins.
Doing nothing and getting nothing are two different things.

I didn't really want any of those players, certainly not at the terms they signed.
More than anything, I didn't want Berg to make his mess even bigger. And honestly, a big part of me hopes this blows up in his face next year and Berg and Therrien are fired.
