Have been able to get to any games, Franko ... I thought about it too long and game 5 is sold out from what I understand ... Cheers. sold out amazingly fast . . . people were actually hoping the 67s would lose a game so there could be another one. but just one -- not happy that the series is tied. I haven't been able to get to a game. unfortunately.

The DiPietro injury hurts. (both him and you) big time! he's "our" Price. Andree has to become our "Halak". not doing it.

Translated from French by Microsoft Jesperi Kotkaniemi texted Nick Suzuki to get tickets for tonight's game. After the match, Suzuki said he was eager to play with KK but had not yet proven anything in the #LNH. #Habs

Teasdale and Rouyn Noranda won the Q. Memorial Cup here he comes.
Suzuki with a goal and two assists. Guelph wins 8-3 and 4-2 in the series. They win the OHZl and off to the Memorial Cup.
Fonstad and PA are up 3-2, and have two games at home to join them. Game six is tonight.

Well, it took until OT in Game 7, but Fonstad and PA are going to the Memorial Cup. He joins Teasdale and Suzuki. Too bad Hillis did not re-break his collarbone or else he would be skating for Guelph as well.
The WJC this past year were a lot more fun with a decent Habs’ prospects presence. The same can be said about the upcoming Memorial Cup.
Hope you can score some tickets blny and see some games!
Sportsnet will show all the games. Round robin starts this Friday (May 17) and the final is on Sunday May 26.

Those are $60 a piece, per game. Little spendy for me at the moment. I'll be watching though.

This is exactly what our prospects need... exposure to winning that they can bring to Laval.. this will help Bouchard turn around years of incompetent management, coaching and player development

Speaking of prices, it's the main reason I couldn't be at more games in Montreal ... I'd have to either drive back to Kingston right after (how long it takes for the downtown core to clear, then a 2-hr drive home) ... looking at getting home between 1/2 AM or so ... I've also taken up a hotel room just around the corner from the Bell Centre and I usually try to get the cheapest rate they have but it's still an out-of-pocket expense ... either way it's about a $400+ day after gas, food, (half-decent) tickets, more if I have to fork out for a room ... then you can't leave Montreal without having a great breakfast ... [/whiner] oh yeah, Nick Suzuki ... https://www.instagram.com/p/BxR96BXhYts

Catherine... when we go we splurge though and stay at Le Crystal (we dont go very often because its expensive) Great pic of Nick Suzuki...

Just to expand on that tweet by Andrew Z. The Habs lose the rights to both players on June 1st if they do not sign them to an ELC at that point. Both players would then be eligible to re-enter the draft. The Habs could chose to sign them to AHL deals after the draft as free agents if they were not chosen in the 2019 draft.
I really think the Habs have contract room to sign Walford, and possibly even Tyszka if they feel his injury issues are not a chronic concern. I just don't see all 11 of those pending RFAs coming back. Management may be pursuing some other options first which is why they may be taking their sweet time about getting those ELCs done. I definitely think Walford improved enough this past season to at least get a looksie on an ELC. LHD is an area lacking depth.
I guess we will know for sure in a couple of weeks.

In addition to keeping an eye on the 50 NHL contracts, I know that there are issues regarding roster spots and playing time in Laval.
Is there anything new happening with Montreal cementing an affiliation agreement with an ECHL franchise? It just seems borderline illogical that twenty-five NHL clubs have an affiliate, but Molson sees nothing wrong with not having one.

Fonstad with an assist on the lone PA goal. Host Halifax with the 4-1 win. PA had a number of PP opportunities, but generated very little. Lavoie with a couple of points, including an EN.

Suzuki and the Storm beat Teasdale and the Huskies 5-2. Toropchenko stole the show with a natural hat trick in the first, but Nick scored a nice two-on-one goal and had an end-to-end rush that brought people from their seats despite not resulting in a goal.

Gravel has been sharp when he needed to be so far. Halfway through third, Moose ahead in shots and chances imo. Lavoie with a highlight reel shorty.

Physical as well on Durzi. He looks like he may be a great pick if he is still there at 15. Halifax has four really good skating lines and 6 mobile defensemen. Penalty kill has been excellent as well. One more win and they are in the Final.

I've extolled the fact that I don't believe this to be the most talented Mooseheads team ever, but it may well be the most structured and tactically disciplined. Very rarely is a player out of place or unable to get in place.
