Does anybody believe this bullsh!t from Therrien? There's too much evidence of his mistreatment of players from guys like Ryan, Briere and Pacioretty. And what about Subban's first 2 years in Nashville when the team made it to the Finals, won a President's Trophy and Subban was a Norris finalist? Is Therrien going to take credit for that too?
Why does the media talk to this loser?
EDIT: I laughed when the article referred to Subban as Therrien's protege. Scapegoat is more like it. Therrien's ability to mentor players is non existent.

Therrien was such a zero in terms of man-management skills. What a surprise that he never got another gig. He was an assistant for Vignault in Philly. And look what happened to them.

Yes, he was on Vigneault's staff. But for a guy who coached over 800 games in the league and had a .563 points percentage, it says something about his defects that he could not get another gig when it is now almost six years since he was fired by Molson/Bergevin.

It's surprising neither Chicago or Arizona hired him.

It's surprising neither Chicago or Arizona hired him. He's got a Masters in blaming others & PhD in destroying young players

Just prior to being hired in 2012, Therrien had been working as an analyst on L'Antichambre for about a year, and had been critical of Subban...perhaps because he had the inside scoop on the veterans being "tough on PK". You see, HE wasn't tough on Subban because he's a tyrant. He was simply playing "Dirty Cop Coach" to straighten out PK so the players could focus on hockey. A "controversial approach" that led to getting the best out of PK down the line. Thanks Michel. Now, tell us how it helped veteran Briere when you told him, "No one in the room respects you. No one wants to play with you." Or how it boosted Briere's confidence when you deliberately omitted him from a shootout drill after he suggested he be used, considering his experience. For the good of the team, of course. Therrien’s definition of coaching is limited to telling players to play the right way. He has no idea on how to show them how to do that

Whoo baby, that’s a lot of Benjamins. Good player though.
