More on the crazy game that Saros made 64 saves on 67 shots. Pacioretty made his Canes debut (67 team shots after all) and KK was the only Cane without any shots.

I hate TSN. The Leafs lost & they had a lengthy interview with Giordano. As that wasn't enough, they come back from commercial & are doing another interview with Sandin.
Its as if there are no other Canadian teams in the league.
EDIT: They come back from another break and talk to some call up named McCann & Nylander now. Nice turquoise jacket on Nylander BTW. And after another break now its Keefe. They've had 4 players and the coach on after a regular season loss.đ
We get cheated out of seeing other teams because they waste so much time on the Leafs.

No penalty on the play. Nice look, NHL officials! Hopefully they correct it and dish out a suspension today as this was a dirty cheap shot.

The new up and coming superstar in womenâs U18 hockey is a 14 year old Slovakian teen who tore up the U18s this week, and can play in this event for years to come! It is also cool that she is not from either đ¨đŚ or the đşđ¸.

The NHL fined him $5,000. No suspension. What a joke... sergachev make 4.5 this year and 8.5 for the next 8 years... the 5k fine will really cause him anguish... and the nhlpa is complicit, rather than defending the assaulted player they do nothing believing both players are part of the PA... ridiculous

Patches went down pretty badly, and there was no one around him. Does not look good for his season, which has been a lost cause already due to injury.

Torn Achilles. Out for at least 6 months if previous Achilles injuries throughout sports is an indication.

Really bush league the way they treated Boudreau, letting this go on for weeks.
Stay classy Rutherford.

I wonder if a UFA like Horvat would leave over this.
17 - read this article- it has lots to say about Rutherford & none of it is good.

"What number is he?" ... must have been a heck of a debut ... Cheers. I donât know what is worse right now. The way the Canucks are stringing along Boudreau. It is so classless. Or the dinosaur Sutterâs handling of young players. The backstory on this is the Flames were the only team in the NHL not to have dressed a player 22 and under this season. Sitter loves his veterans and does not trust the young guys. Pelletier is a very promising prospect and they also have the guy who is leading the AHL in goals, yet no sniff of the NHL for either. They recently called up Pelletier and Sutter kept him as a healthy scratch for a while, paraphrasing something to the effect that âit is good for him just to be around the guysâ. Now the kid gets to play, and Sutter pulls this old school, dinosaur âpower moveâ. Dirtbag.

Good for Boudreau. They deserve to be called out. The Canucks are a joke of an organization, starting at the top with Aquilini and on down to their way past his expiration date GM (oh wait, he claims he is only the President so as to have plausible deniability when everything goes wrong).
I would imagine kids like Pettersson and Hughes are desperate for a change of address.

Really bush league the way they treated Boudreau, letting this go on for weeks. Stay classy Rutherford. Staying classy suggests he has been all class. Is that the case? The Canucks have screwed up plenty during his short tenure. Communication has been poor or non existent. They should have fired him right after Rutherford took over because he wasn't Jimmy's guy. Forget Alvin, the GM. It's all Rutherford's show, the guy who wouldn't have won a thing without boatloads of luck. Matt Murray impersonates Dominik Hasek for 2 playoff years and disappears the rest of his career. Cam Ward is a star for one playoff year and Mr. Average or less the rest of the time. The old saying "I'd rather be lucky than good" fits JR like a glove. Most SC champions have drafted well during their bad years. Just take a look at Rutherford's drafting with Carolina and then with Pittsburgh. Awful isn't a good enough description, but he was good enough for Aquilini.

As if dissing Pelletier went enough, Sutter couldn't even say something nice about passing Bob Johnson on the wins list. Wow talk about sour. I used to diss the Sutter brothers as coaches, saying they'd never win a Stanley Cup. My theory was that they pushed their teams so hard during the regular season that they had nothing left for the playoffs. That was true until Darryl won 2 Cups with LA. Now, I'm wondering if I was right to start with, but Darryl had some good fortune those years that negated the demands he placed on his players. Quick had an awesome year in 2012. He had to. That was a rather unimpressive team talent wise, but they had Kopitar and Doughty. They also were able to pawn off Jack Johnson (who would surely have tanked them) for Jeff Carter who played a key role as that 2nd centre they needed. The 2014 team was at least better. Good top 4 with Doughty, Voynov, Martinez and Muzzin. They also picked up Gaborik at the TDL and he was big.

Trouble is that while he's a good scorer, he's also 5'9", 160 lbs. We have to pass on more little guys.
