Neely should be PO'd. They had a 5-4 lead half way through the 3rd & then gave up 3 goals. Orlov, Clifton, Brrtuzzi & even Brrgeron all - 3.
Maybe it's time for Swayman because Ullmark is just not getting the job done. He cost them the game on Wednesday with his wandering & is not coming up with the saves.

I too wouldn't mind a series win, but then the conundrum: who do you cheer for in a TO/Boston series? ugh, ugh, and more ugh. Who says the Bruins are advancing? You might be experiencing a lot of angst for nothing.

Can you imagine what the fans are feeling like in Boston? They had the parade route planned already.

They're going back to Boston and Cam Neely is not happy I wish I could have seen that. An unhappy Neely is like a snort of coke for me (I'm speculating here, but my guess is it would feel pretty good)

Lehky with the insurance and empty-netter in a 4-1 win. On to Game 7.

I'm glad to see Lehkonen experiencing success & realizing his potential.
The Avs fans have found out , I'm sure, that this is a guy you can put out in all situations & he will absolutley get the job done. And low maintenance on top of that. A coaches dream.

Dallas ousts Minnesota winning 4-1. Marchment scores the insurance goal on a breakaway with .5 seconds on the clock in the 2nd period.

Stastny ends the Isles playoffs on a bad angle shot Saw that this morning. There was a bad clear by the Isles D ( Pelech or Dobson) that was picked off & fed to Stastny. Sorokin has been quite good all year. I was surprised to see a goal like that end their season.

Florida is a good offensive team, but there is no getting around the fact that Ullmark has been terrible. Considering Ullmark-Swayman were a tandem last season and Swayman also played a lot of games this season, it is almost inexplicable why Montgomery decided this is a ditch he wants to die in after the howler that cost Boston game 5.

I think Florida has gotten to Ullmark. When a goalie drops his gloves & chases a guy around that's a bad sign. These guys have to be laser focused and he's lost it. He's allowed 10 goals in 2 close out games. Isn't that enough of a sign? Jeez.

He's allowed 10 goals in 2 close out games. Isn't that enough of a sign? Jeez. I started to question Boston after Ullmark scored that goal back when. Both he and the team celebrated like they'd just won the Cup. While a goalie scoring is rare, it's not like it's never happened before and that particular whooping, hollering, etc. was way over the top. Ullmark was saying "I've just had my Magnus Opus". No, Linus, the Cup is a the acme of your career, not a freaking empty net goal. (I used 'Acme" deliberately, in honour of Wile E Coyote and his numerous tumbles over cliffs). One more cliff to fall over, Boston.

TB / Toronto tied 1-1. Going to OT in about 10 minutes.
FFS - Leafs win early in OT.
Despite their injuries TB still had a shot here. I'm disappointed in Kucherov. 113 points in the season & 3 points in the game one blowout. But just 3 assists the rest of the way.

Ironic in a way, that the guy who breaks the Series 1 curse, is the guy who has been criticized heavily for not getting the Leafs over that hurdle. Dubas sure had a lot of his decisions justified today. Fair enough. He took a lot of criticism in the past for them.
And Klim Kostin turns into a Kingslayer (apologies to Jaime Lannister)

Just put it on net...especially in OT. Goes in off Raddysh's skate. Fair enough.
Samsonov was the deciding factor in that series.
Tampa's current Cup-core window has officially closed, no? Likely would've had another Cup had they not taken Columbus so lightly in 2019--outscored 19-8 in a sweep after running away with the President's Trophy.

I feel for Bowness. They are riding high in February & still almost blow their playoff position. Then they lose to the Knights playing their 4th choice ? goalie.
They deserved to be called out but they must have run to management & forced him to backtrack. I'm surprised he wants to stay after being undermined like that.

And Samsonov was their 2nd choice after Murray. He's only signed for this season. Where is Murray anyway? I think we'll hear about injuries. Point , after that collision with Reilly, Hedman I think was playing hurt after missing some time. Cernak, of course. If I was TB fan I'd be wondering where Kucherov went. Three points in game one & then 3 assists the rest of the way. With 3 OT losses, his lack of contribution was huge.

Agree. Stamkos, Hedman, Sergachev, Killorn, Point, Cirelli...they gave it their best shot, IMO, and found ways to work around the Leafs' coverage.
Kucherov never rose to that level. He was either playing through an injury, or "meh" for some other reason.
RE: Cernak's absence. As seventeen posted earlier--Bunting may have done the Leafs the greatest service.
Impactful loss...and the goonery won't be forgotten.

Ya, he sure was. Sakic rewarded him with a nice extension. Now when Nicushkin is really needed he has let his team down big time.
