Caufield extends his point scoring streak to 10 games.
This ties him with 30 other instances of Habs who had 10 game point streaks, and the 53rd longest streak in club history.
The last 10 game point streak that ended at 10 games was 1993-94 - Vincent Damphousse
The last 10 game point streak was 2018-19 - Max Domi (11 game point streak)

If Hughes manages to trade Anderson and Evans at the deadline, I may just get a bronze statue made of him and worship it You might have to put in a bulk order... Let's start small - maybe a bobble head.

I think the Rangers trade for Zegras this summer. Agree. They'll dangle Lafreniere AND Kakko. If I'm Verbeek, I'd definitely go for that deal.

I X has 1 shot.
Is he playing forward?
Are there any dead Wash defenseman?

Blocked again, but I get to see the Canucks vs Carolina so maybe not a bad trade-off. How can the top line be humming and Slaf not get a point?

Oh well...i thought it would be a wild Area 52 experiment.
I think Byfuglien played forward sometimes and he was a nightmare.

During Caufield's 10 game point scoring streak he has 13 points
This is the second least amount of points of all 31 instances of 10 game scoring streaks (that ended at 10 games), tied with Larry Robinson in 1974-75
The least amount of points during a 10 game point streak for a Hab was 12 points. It was done 3 times
Yvon Lambert 1974-75 Guy Lapointe 1974-75 Mark Napier 1981-82

I X has 1 shot. Is he playing forward? Are there any dead Wash defenseman? Arber has an assist on Suzuki's goal. Who is his partner? When that goal was scored Xhekaj and Kovacevic were on the ice (And Mudryk mistakenly referred to Xhekaj as Matheson)

That was the worst clearing attempt I've seen in some time by Savard ... just gave it to Ovechkin
3-1

With Monahan traded, all of the forwards that are on the Habs roster have scored 88 goals. 32 have been scored by Caufield and Suzuki. 56 by the rest
The players with the third most goals on the team are Gallagher and Armia with 8 ... buy a lotto ticket if you had that on your pre-season bingo card

We should call Pearson PK... everytime he's on the ice the team has to kill a penalty

The Capitals are pushing back. St. Louis is known to scratch guys recently for taking multiple penalties in a game. May we presume, therefore, a message needs to be sent to Pearson?

Ovie hasn’t been able to score against anyone, but Savard gift wraps one for him? Not quite Savard had the puck with all kinds of time, but backhanded a weak clearing attempt to the point where Ovechkin was. Ovechkin shot it to the opposite corner, and it was picked up by a Capital. No one covered Ovechkin as he dropped down to his office, and a cross ice golden road pass left him with an empty net one timer

Sometimes I wonder if Montreal players just met each other for the first time.
The passes to no one, the goalie pushing the puck along the boards to no one, the amount of times it's only one person going into the offensive zone ... it really makes you wonder

Matheson unaware of the clock... doesn't shoot when we finally have some pressure and the second pairing ends
No surprise there was someone opened on the right side. Matheson needs a note from God to pass to the right side

Slafkovsky still takes way too long to shoot
Caufield set him up for a grade A scoring shot, and he waited too long and then shot it wide from the slot
