I agree with McLaren. His 2002 hit on Zednik was clean--a visibly clean, unobstructed example of a textbook clothesline.
Reminds me of how furious I used to become while watching the Habs.
Nowadays, not even the Habs themselves make me angry. 32 teams...you're lucky to have a legit 2-year window.

It sure looked to me like Chara drove him into the stanchion. No let up at all. I don't care what anyone says about all the good works that Chara has done. To me he's a thin skinned predator and a bully.

Maroon is hurt. No one on the Bruins is even remotely 'heavy' enough to drop the gloves with Xhekaj. If recall correctly, in the blowout loss in Boston, Frederic fought Anderson. Maybe if some fourth line or third pair B wants to act tough, Pezzetta would certainly oblige, though inexplicably (according what I see on the NHL Network) Coach St. Louis is returning to the zero-identity fourth line (Pearson, White, Harvey-Pinard).
Can someone send Hughes the notification that the deadline passed, no one wanted Pearson, end of story. Why is a cap dump throw-in that deal for Vancouver's third round pick still taking game reps away from a younger guy like Ylonen or an edgy dude like Pezzetta who will defend his teammates?

I think that St. Louis is reluctant to admit that guys like Pezzeta are still necessary parts of any team. This isn't the 1st time that MSL has left him in the press box against feisty opponents.
Pezzetta can play a little bit & he is willing to stick up for his teammates. He isn't some dumba$$ like Rempe who roams around the ice delivering cheap shots, losing fights or in some cases, refusing to answer the bell for his BS antics,

Maroon very soon--a Broon playoff goon.
Fits like a Ference glove.

The boys look dreadful. Slow, slow breakouts, turnovers, running around in their own zone.

The first line showed a nice amount of determination and skill to even up the scoreboard, which is an important flip of the switch because they were lethargic and sloppy in the games first ten minutes just like all the Habs skaters.

Matheson might as well just hand the puck to the opponent instead of shooting on the PP from the point. In fact, his three moves from the point are: not passing to slaf, missing the net, and turning it over for a breakaway.
