Xhekaj goes after the guy who kneed Laine after the puck dropped. A guy named Pare, who wouldn't fight. Xhekaj pounded him with gloves still on and got 2-5-10-10 and a game ejection 7 min PP to Toronto Still think it will be a deterrent? Did Pare take a good beating? Nose rearranged? I’m blocked out.to digress, is Robertson a Hab killer? If you're blacked out, I've updated both the French and English radio links in the GDT ... just another option ... Cheers. |

I think that I'm done with Marty The Blind. If he can't see our perimeter pp and change the pesonel, then he needs to go coach peewee.
We need a canon and clog the net, not dancing and passing queens.

Thanks Dis. Not for a preseason game for me. I can pass. They used to try intimidating Jean Beliveau his first few years. He went from 58 PIM to 143 in 55-56 and 103 after that. It wasn’t long before they left him alone. If Slaf can wreck a few guys it will get around.
Sounds like he won this one.

I'm absolutely convinvinced we need to change our PP by putting a canon in the high slot and a player in front of the net. All we do is the same thing every season, every game, every PP.
Pass...pass...pass...shoot...pass...lose the puck.
Pure perimeter that all the other team has to do is clog the center and keep us on the perimeter.
We are a PP joke that is DIRECT reflection on the coach. And yes, the honeymoon is dead.

It might discourage a few forward from blocks and if it doesn’t, increases their injury chances. Gotta shoot at some point. |

This team is not yet ready for any sort of big push in the standings. By next summer St. Louis may well regret officially painting the power play coach bullseye on his back. I know Hughes is like his brother but reality is what it is and in the event of both having a crap season and crap power play will probably make Hughes have to deal with the fallout in a way that he would certainly rather not have to do so.
