I have to record it in French just in case it's a one shot view. Other then streaming, i never seen a game without replaying. Unfortunatly i lost my slow-mo with Ignite. With the huge tv and 4k resolution i have now, i love to see where their heads and skates turn. It's a HUGE "scouting" advantage that even surpasses live scouting from the tenth row. EDIT...I JUST DISCOVERED I HAVE SLO-MO! Holy smokes, my game threads might get ridiculously long. It's 50% speed which will capture how plays developed. I just watched some football on it...WOW WHERE IS BC!!!!

I think Amazon will go all out, I can see them wanting content and putting on a good show, I wonder who will do their games and intermission, would be cool if they had PK, Messier and Lundquist like TNT

Crosby is always ready to play when the Penguins visit the Bell Centre. So I expect his mates will work as hard as they can. It is early in the season, so nobody should bury the Penguins just yet. However, against good teams (Rangers, Leafs), Pittsburgh has looked overwhelmed. Granted, though against a team with a modest roster (Red Wings) the Penguins looked fine.
I imagine the coaches will want to get Primeau a home start this week, not sure if it will be against the Penguins or the Kings. And what about Struble? He never went on IR, so I would assume that he is supposed to ready any day now.
Up front, I see that Barre-Boulet was placed on waivers today. I know St. Louis spoke very fondly of him on the eve of the season, but this move does not surprise me at all. In the two games he played, he hustled but did not bring anything notable. Perhaps management is not calling anyone up this week because in reality there is no compelling reason to have two extra forwards sitting around.

Having gone through the DD, Mete and Pitlick "experience", the hairs in the back of my neck stand up when a player that has no business playing in the NHL is suddenly the coaches favorite new toy. They are on the power play, the penalty kill, everywhere...until not too long after, they are on a bus out of town. As soon as saw the signing the first thing I noticed was the stats, followed by the size followed by the origin of the species. It's OK, I feel better now...

Slafkovsky will turn 21 on March 30, 2025 Good company to keep for the most part. Seeing Galchy and KK in that group is a little disconcerting. Fortunately Slafs is way better than those light-weights. And if i'm reading that right, if Slafs has a 50+ point season, he is in top place. Too easy!

I buried the Pens early last season and this year will only be deeper. They are yesterday's team. And Dufus ain't the guy to turn that around. Crosby may have the odd good game against his chilhood team, but the Pens ain't playoff bound, again! I'm thinking Letang wished he came home when he could

When Lane carries the puck into the zone like he did below, 2 of the forwards have to fly in towards the net to distract the goalie and D and give Lane some space and maybe pick up a rebound

I remember some were saying that Mario was going to be the second comming of The Rocket because of his scoring and nastiness.
At least he turned out to be a GREAT coach...

Lars Eller always scores against MTL
1-0 PIT
MTL still doesn't have a shot on net , 7 mins in

PIT has all kinds of space
It's baffling

We’re giving the Pens a good practice workout so far. Maybe we could rsise the intensity level?

Yeah, thus far the boys look more like the team that was allowing the Leafs and Bruins to skate downhill against them -- too many errant passes, too much standing around.
