Guhle scored with his cannon? Who knew? I mean, I'd hire the dummy who keeps screaming into the either that Guhle should be put on the point in the PP.
It's getting annoying...we expect the "professionals" should see more then amateur outsiders, but what we see here is they can't see the big forest sitting in the middle of the trees. The alternative is to think they are too stupid to see what's in front of them. But then again, I don't think we got an extra refined suit and tie version of BargainBin and MThead. Or maybe, they are mostly just ordinary IQ people whose reputation precedes them...but as fans we raise them on a pedestal. Proof would be that not that many make something of themselves outside their profession. Or linked to their profession and fame. Anywho...Guhle should be on the PP on the point. It wasn't his canon that caused the goal. If he put a wrist shot on net it was going in. The net was wide open due to a great fake out by ....Mike Matheson But it was a nice canon And a screen by Slaf

Jake Evans has completely lost any offensive instinct he ever had ... what a poor pass to a wide open player

Sigh, Barron. Can’t execute a good enough pass to get the breakaway.

Ok, my feed froze and Heineman scores shortly after. It’s the Bills/Jets for me.

He's Swedish? I have no idea why I though he was from Finland.
The dude has a good shot, kind of deceptive but with serious heat.

You just knew that when Matheson and Barron both jumped up to lead the rush that it would end poorly if they didn’t score.

I think everyone knows that Hutson is thinking pass first.
When he does those dangles he has to shoot sometimes to keep them honest

It definitely contributed But Matheson deserves some credit too. And I defer to Guhle himself when interviewed Question "Tell us how you came to score the goal to get you to within one goal" Answer "I just had to put it on goal, it was a wide open net. Mike made a great fake and a nice pass. It was a good play by Mike". (Paraphrased, but the gist)

Yeah, Evans once in a blue moon pulls off a toe drag and wires a wrister bar down. But basically the guy is just a fourth line PKer who is almost always a second or two late passing the puck where it should go and in general has very limited offensive vision. Injuries in Montreal have given the guy a lot of middle six minutes over the years but he is what he is -- a good PKer, a team guy who is popular with his mates. But the good news is that he will not get re-signed because kids (Kapanen and Beck) with better (not great, but better) overall skill sets are going to make him redundant/expendable for 2025-26.

But man it’s fun seeing who he’ll spot and what type of pass he’ll make. His shot is far less entertaining. I’ll let MSL convince him to shoot more. I’m enjoying the show too much to tell him to change!

Hutson has to get his strap under his chin too. That last rush it was up by his mouth. He gets hit that helmet will fly off like that

I hate when they just have to skate it out of the zone, but they drop pass it back. Almost cost them.
