The defensive zone coverage is worthy of a band of beer leaguers. Hutson did everything he could, he stopped a 3 on 1, but there wasn't enough backup, the forwards were floating into the D zone... pathetic |

Their lack of showing any improvement AT ALL in the past 12 months is on MSL. Any other coach would have been fired at this point.

I blame the other clowns on the ice leaving siegentaler all alone... he watched the puck battle because the habs lose puck battles |

I blame the other clowns on the ice leaving siegentaler all alone Rarely does the blame fall just on one man. Yes, Hutson stopped the 2 on 1, but then botched the puck recovery. Savard shares some blame for going into the corner to check the man that Anderson had already covered. I get it though… he was ticked off about getting tripped (which created the 3 on 1) and then for getting dumped from behind in our zone too. Lastly, Dvorak was caught snoozing, which shouldn’t surprise anyone (it’s kinda his thing). |

Again to call on my soccer experience, I’d hustle back even if it looked like the play would be over when I finally arrived (no Usain Bolt, me). It was actually very surprising how often the other team would stumble, make an extra pass or our goalie would make a great save and I’d be there to clear the ball. It matters! Backcheck like your life depends on it. |

This team blows Monty will not be on Team Canada. All this team does is reach and try to stick check. No one takes the body, no one takes the man in open ice, there is no structure, and more importantly there is no heart and want to win Time to bench someone who makes big bucks Right now, that player is named Dach or Slafkovsky Both big players who are playing like pansies.
