The refs are horrible, but unfortunately when you give up five odd man rushes and five totally uncontested shots from the lower slot, you are going to lose games in the NHL.

What just happened there?
Savard creams Mercer, Evans gets the puck, stops at the blueline, and backhands it to the redline to a Devil and gives them an odd man rush back in ... why not just fire that down the ice or head man the puck for a rush. I didn't think he was being pressured

Sheesh. They cal. Matheson on a soft play and when Kovacevic interferes with Newhook who dumped the puck in, quit clearly getting in his way, they pretend not to see it. Not to mention the dangerous cross check Meier hit Struble with.

So far he hasn't had any goals scored on him since his exile.
