Take it for what it is worth
got that from a blog
I would also like to share what a fellow insider Alex has heard.
So on to the information that I have been able to gather over the last few days. First off, I want to get something straight. Both the Hossa/Murray trade and the Federov/Balej trade went down within hours of the teams talking. But both had a lot to do with the West Point trip (like I have said in the past). The Rangers wanted to move both players because they showed a “me first” attitude and were not team players. When Murray was sent down, he got into a shouting match with reporters who tried to talk to him. That was the end of his Rangers career.

Hmmm, makes me wonder what sort of attitude the Habs sent the other way.

Really, if Hossa was still in Montreal he would not be getting the ice time he is receiving in New York so we can't really compare the numbers.
Instead of waiting for a month or so to evaluate this deal we are looking at it game by came and taking blog entries as gospel.

Hossa always starts well, but the Rangers have cut down his ice time just like the Hab's did after his hot start.
