Of all the people to have two gilt edged scoring chances and it's Flynn. A 4th liner. Why not Parenteau? Sheesh.

Not really disagreeing with you, Skilly. Therrien will never do it because he trusts veterans much, much more than rookies, especially raw rookies. I'd be hesitant myself, but I wouldn't hesitate to install Thomas or Andrighetto to inject some scoring. DLR, BGal, AGal, NB, Pateryn, PK all say hi. Am I forgetting someone? All young guys that have played contributing minutes under MT. Fine, but personally, I'd rather have Andrighetto or Thomas taking those two shots that Flynn just missed. I'm not espousing replacing everyone with rookies, but if the team can't score, it might make sense to put in a guy who's been a scorer in lower leagues. We'll have to have a proper debate on young player development at a later date.

Well they were playing with fire but uncanny how the are more dangerous on the Pks than PP...need to bring that urgency to the PP.....PK's penalty a period momentum killer

Now...let's see how consistent the refs are when Tampa roughs it up a bit.
The Lightning got 6 straight minutes of possible momentum change.
And they did capitalize.

Tampa's not on their A game, and yet it's tied. Ugh.

Stupid penalties by Prust und Subban. No need to stir the pot when we're dominating the game.

They let Morrow away with clear interference on Smith-Pelly that led to a scoring chance yet they call Subban in a scrum like that. This is Chris Lee we are talking about, one of the worst in the league.

I didn't see anything that hadn't been going on all over the ice on that play. On the replay I kept looking for what Prust might have done, but didn't see anything unusual or extreme that warranted a penalty. Did I miss it entirely? I didn't see PK's penalty call.

I saw the same thing. I couldn't believe there was one penalty, let alone 2. We had the edge. This period coming up could be the series.

This is Chris Lee we are talking about, one of the worst in the league. In the OHL game yesterday, Erie basically won it when a Sault St. Marie player went throught the crease and slew footed the Erie goalie. He received a 5 minute major and was ejected. Morrow did the same thing and got nothing and Tampa almost scored. A conspiracy theorist might conclude there's a plot to keep us from advancing to the next round.

It was a lame call. 2 would have been fine. Better yet, ignore it, like they do when some of our guys get roughed up.

It's bad enough that 3 great chances have come to people that can't score but when you add questionable reffing on top of that it's almost impossible to watch.
This is the game management Tim Peel talked about.
