Only because you posted so many times Did you know beforehand or did you go and watch the clip? I rewatch it quite a bit, I think it's hilarious ;D Lacy: "You forgot your cup."Corner Gas, "Bed and Brake Fast" And am I the only one who noticed that Travis took a stick to the face last night? Delivered by Spacek, no less... Travis looked a little miffed afterwards, so I hope Spacek bought him a beer [since he did say he knew how to order beer with his broken English, lol!] *** So I have myself an answer for the next question... I just need to find the question ;D Not sure if I'll have time to post something before Sunday, because tomorrow is grocery shopping, Christmas decorating and going out for supper with friends. And the restaurant is fancy [read slow] so I might miss the start of the game, ack! This is verboten!

And now I have an "actual" trivia question...
Trivia question: Which two former Habs players had almost exactly the same accomplishments exactly 10 years apart? Name the players and what they accomplished.
(Sorry for the wording, I couldn't think of any other way to put it...)

Latendresse and LeClair had almost the exact number of goals in almost the exact number of games as a Hab ... but it was 15 years apart and not 10 ....
still looking

Christobal Huet and Price have pretty much the same stats ... but again, not 10 years apart.
Huet - 117GP - 58W - 39L- 9OTL
Price - 116GP - 56W - 39L - 15OTL
The pretty much face almost the same number of shots too ....
But you said former Habs ....

But you said former Habs .... Don't know if this helps or not, but they are both retired as well. And neither one was a Hab when he retired.

But you said former Habs .... Don't know if this helps or not, but they are both retired as well. And neither one was a Hab when he retired. Bernie Geoffrion won the Calder in 1952 Bobby Rousseau won the Calder in 1962 Both are retired. Neither one played for the Canadiens at their retirement (both played for the New York Rangers) It's also worth noting that a young fellow named Dryden won the Calder in 1972. But he retired a Hab.

Not that far back. Here's another hint:Only one of the accomplishments was with the NHL. The other is pre-NHL but is noteworthy just the same.

I am going to give it one more shot ....
1917-18 - Joe Malone had 7 hat tricks
1927-28 - Howie Morenz had 5 hat-tricks
Only times in Habs history that any player had 5 or more hat-tricks

Number 54. And it's Grabovski Grabovski wore 59 when he first came up & then switched to 54. You are correct: He was 59 for 3 games on January 6, 7 and 9 in 2007. When he came back in 2007-2008, he switched to 54.

Number 54. And it's Grabovski Wrong! And you are sneaky, because I now suspect you were referring to Tony Graboski, who played 34 games in 1940-41, 23 games in 1941-42 and 9 games in 1942-43. And he liked his numbers: 18 [but he also wore 1, 8 and 17]. Now am I right?

Okay, I'm going to give you a season to start off with: 1979-80. That's for one guy and that's the NHL record (or, if you will, the team record) that I'm looking for. Add 10 years and you will find someone who did almost exactly the same thing. Then for both guys, subtract 6 years and find something else they both accomplished, pre-NHL. [And you know what? I neglected to mention that there were 2 separate accomplishments, one exactly the same and one almost exactly the same, both exactly 10 years apart for these guys. Because I obviously have English issues as well as Math issues ] You were on the right track when you mentioned Leclair and Lats. Go back and revisit that notion
