Okay.... So, for the heck of it, I looked up some swords. I can see him using the Damascus Viking sword (1. because I have a vivid imagination; 2. because it's 3 feet in length; 3. I would have liked to recruit him for Odin's Warriors, but I had to decline ... that's a hint Franko should recognize ) Shall we say American? Yes, I do believe we shall.

Trivia question: Whose mom doesn't know what icing the puck means?
Post by ValkyrieNS on Oct 20, 2010 6:34:49 GMT -5
Hint: Let us be country-ist and assume correctly that no self-respecting Canadian hockey mom wouldn't know what icing is. That leaves the Americans and the Europeans. Any guesses?

Answer: Scott Gomez. He calls his mom a casual fan.
Source was an article from HIO (or at least the link was from there...)

Hint: It was last year, and he wasn't with us at the time. He is pointless this season (so far). I doubt you'd use Eller again, so I'll guess Pyatt. Pyatt *was* with us last year. And it is indeed Eller. See, I'm sneaky that way. At some point, I have a whole slew of questions about one guy in particular and I might just throw them out there one after the other * *It's not Marc-André, so no fear there, although I do miss him terribly. My source was THN, January 2010. *** Speaking of first goals, here's another one. Trivia question: His first NHL goal was a tip-in... off of the goalie's stick (the knob actually). Think Detroit.

I think thats was Georges? Indeed it was Josh. The goalie was Hasek. January 4, 2007. Source: HIO (that place is a source of everything, I tell you. If you haven't been, you MUST go there now!) *** Trivia question: He can squat more weight than Brooks Orpik, Rob Scuderi or Mike Mottau. Who is he?

Hint: Boston College.

Answer: Brian Gionta. Please keep in mind that he is only 5'7" and 173 lbs. Now this was back in 2000, but since he can still knock over goalies just by gawking at them... well, I think we can conclude that he still has some weightlifting skills Brook Orpik 6'2" and 219 lbs Rob Scuderi 6'1" and 216 lbs Mike Mottau 6' and 190 lbs Bobby Allen 6' and 201 lbs (he's retired so I didn't include him in my original list, but his name was mentioned in my source... I've since forgotten where I got it from) *** Trivia question: He was Marc-André's roommate on the road. Who is he?
Post by ValkyrieNS on Oct 25, 2010 5:30:02 GMT -5
Answer: Maxim Lapierre.
Before Gui was traded, he was Max's roomie and Marc-André was Halak's roomie.
