LOL ... I'd like to be able to say I'm sorry, but I'd be fibbing . I'm putting the hurt on you next time I see you! But unfortunately for you, I will still keep talking to you. So you're not getting rid of me that easily ;D *** Anyone going to take a stab at figuring out who took out their wrath on Bob Hartley's video equipment? He is known to have a short fuse...

Yes, cute. He's a baby (21 is a baby in my books). When Anne-Marie Withenshaw asked him why he didn't wait until later to get married, he said something along the lines that he knew she was the woman of his dreams and why waste time; this way he gets to spend more time with her. All together now: AWWWWWW!!!! Then she had the nerve to ask him if his parents approved... Hello? The boy is a legal adult! Anyhow, I just thought it was extremely romantic. But I'm a girl so that's to be expected

Feb. 15, 1975 at home vs. Chicago. A 12-3 win.
1. Looked up the date he scored 5. List of players scoring 5 or more. 2. Went to the Internet Hockey Database and went to the game results for 1975.

Random Moment of Trivia: Jonas Hiller. Like this guy. That is all. ETA: because I haven't checked the other pool I'm in since early November, imagine my delight in finding that I'm in 4th [yes, 4th!] place and have been flip-flopping between 4th and 6th place since mid-November. And that's out of 24 people. And I'm the only girl. And turns out I have Hiller in that pool *** Trivia question: Who, growing up, had a poodle named Peggy? And yes, he seemed somewhat embarrassed by this fact... [current Hab] Answer: Pleky. He now has a cat named Arthur.

Answer: Mathieu Darche, in response to the Bruins whining that we (the CH) were "dirty little players".
Mr. Val and I have now adopted the "hockey is not checkers" line in our house. But it still does not excuse Matt Cooke's behaviour...

BTW, happy 10th wedding anniversary to Brent and Kelly today. Brent had to remind Kelly, as she herself states that she is terrible with dates *** Trivia question: Who, after years of being hassled by a couple of season ticket holders in the Saddledome, whose seats were behind the sin bins, finally leaned around the glass (obviously after taking a penalty) and asked them: "Isn't it time we became friends?" Answer: Chris Chelios, playing for the Blackhawks when the conversation happened. The lady, feeling mighty brave , said to Chris: "Okay, give your friend your stick." Chris did
***
Random thoughts: 1. Truly, truly disappointed in the NHL's disciplinary division right now. They had a chance to send a message about hits to the head and concussions and choose not to do so. 2. Why do I have a weakness for d-men? They keep dropping dead on me, so I *should* give up on them all. 3. Because I am obsessed, I am PVRing both the English version and the French version of Your Canadians Tom Pyatt tonight! 4. I have half a mind to publicly declare that the Bolts are my favourite team just to see if it stops our boys from getting injured...

Trivia question: This former Hab ended up playing in a senior men's league in Newfoudland & Labrador. Who is he?
