Yup! According to the Elle Quebec I bought in Moncton (I was going there anyways, I did not make a special trip to Moncton to purchase the magazine, lol!), Markov has a 9 year-old son named Daniel who lives in Russia. Quelle surprise! But a nice one Another thing that makes him happy? The fact that his mom is in good health. *** Happy Birthday to Pleky, who is all of 28 today *** Trivia question: On an episode of Cribs, Cammy was sporting quite the shiner. Who gave it to him?* *[current Hab, but neither were Habs at the time]

Hint: How good is your memory? Last week, he got involved in a fight a mere 5 seconds after serving a penalty.

Twas indeed Travis who delivered the punch! As far as I can tell, it occurred on March 18, 2007, as that is the only Ducks/Kings game during the 2006-2007 season where Moen took a roughing penalty. A quote from Mike: "I hated playing against that guy." Source: THN, August 3, 2009 *** Trivia question: Can't remember who it was from HIO, but one of the reporters mentioned to Cammy that some of his teammates seemed to be playing with more confidence this year. Cammy attributes it to the fact that over the summer, his teammates bought new suits to replace the bad ones they were wearing last year. Who specifically was he referring to?

Cammy was not referring to this man: plixi.com/p/23791636Hint: Two years ago, I offered to send him a skirt. Thank goodness I did not

Answer: Pleky. I have no idea why Cammy would say that, I personally think Tomas looks good no matter what he's wearing ;D

Trivia question: The day after he scored his first goal (in Junior), his dad passed away. How very sad... who is he?

Answer: Pleky. I have no idea why Cammy would say that, I personally think Tomas looks good no matter what he's wearing ;D *** Trivia question: The day after he scored his first goal (in Junior), his dad passed away. How very sad... who is he? Sylvain Pouliot passed away (leukemia) on Feb. 14, 2004, at the age of 44. "Benoit left Thursday morning by plane to Sudbury," she recalls. "The night before he left, I told Benoit to say goodbye to his father - and his father told him to go, that it would be okay. He left that morning, and Friday night we were listening on the Internet when he scored his first goal with Sudbury.
"When I told him Benoit scored his first goal, I knew... and Sylvain passed away during the night. It's sad to say, but it's as if he waited for that moment to go - to convince himself that Benoit had made it, that he knew Benoit was playing where he deserved to play."

“Josh will defend his teammates in a heartbeat, on or off the ice,” offered Hamilton. “He doesn’t leave anything on the table. He’s a no-nonsense guy who only wants what is best for the team. But in defending his teammates, he will hold you accountable. Honour is a big thing for Josh." I've noticed that if JG is on the ice when someone goes after one of the boys, he's usually the first one back there to "assist" in defending them. I also realize he's great friends with Carey, yet I've noticed him sticking up for him in post-game interviews and in the off-season. And not just because they're friends, because he believes in what he's saying. Ok, enough of that *** This should be an easy one. Please remember that we are now looking for FORMER Habs until I mention otherwise. Trivia question: Whose name appears a bunch of times on the Stanley Cup, with 5 of those times as Captain? I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Mark Moore, the brother of Steve and Dominic Moore. EDIT: Woohoo ... I had a feeling it had to do with one of her "boys". In September of 2003 Mark Moore, at the age of twenty-six, was forced to call the Montreal Canadiens, the team he had idolized since childhood, and inform them that he was turning down an offer to tryout for their organization. He had no choice; the doctors wouldn't clear him to play, and after battling post-concussion syndrome for nearly a year, the truth was he couldn't. As he accustomed himself to his first year without playing hockey since the age of three, he was able to observe the game from the outside - as fans and others saw it- and he quickly noticed the cracks forming in the ice.

I knew one of the Moore's wrote a book ... Regardless, you must've known they had a brother named Mark before you found the book link, no? I will confess I didn't know his name was Mark .... and I thought it was Steve Moore that wrote the book. I figured if I found the book , maybe he discussed his siblings playing hockey. While trying to determine if there was a Moore (besides Dominic) ever in the Habs organization I found a site that listed hockey career ending concussions up to 2003 .... there was two Moores and they were brothers (thats when I "went out on a limb" and posted first) and it hit me that maybe it was mark that wrote the book. Voila ... found the book, and an abstract that confirmed he was almost a Canadien. No gold star for me ... .... lol

While trying to determine if there was a Moore (besides Dominic) ever in the Habs organization I found a site that listed hockey career ending concussions up to 2003. Link please. BTW, I still haven't forgiven Todd Bertuzzi for taking out Steve. As a matter of fact, when we drafted for our fantasy hockey pool, since I thought I would be stuck with autodraft, he was one of 2 players in the "never draft" column. *** Trivia question: Have you guys heard of the stationary bike sprint test know as the "windgate"? No, but a valiant guess. First hint = NYR Second hint = Pens Answer: Dominic Moore can pedal a bike... and break a $10,000 machine {And yes, I screwed up when I said sophomore year. I'm notoriously bad at math.} Source: another book that Mark Moore wrote, this one on hockey skills. Why did I read a book on hockey skills? Well, it had pictures, and personal anecdotes throughout. *** Trivia question: Who had said a prayer that the bike would break before his turn came? Hints: Former Habs, 2006, Pens
