Thanks Gnick....some really interesting insights. The Fucale part was interesting, especially since Price seems to have a totally different attitude. Now, some players are competitive and not demonstrative. Fucale obviously is both. The Crisp background is also intriguing. If we can get a kid as tough as he is, to up his talent level sufficiently to play in the NHL, UberCranky will have his supergoon who can play. Love it.

If we can get a kid as tough as he is, to up his talent level sufficiently to play in the NHL, UberCranky will have his supergoon who can play. Love it. I remember the QC/Halifax game. Timmins was there scouting Grigrenko. At the time Habs were going to draft top 10 at least and Grigrenko was once a projected top pick.

I'm not sure about you guys, but I'm usually pretty excited when Timmins goes off the board and drafts an overager or a relative no name. Subban, Streit, Grabovsky, Nygren... By now I think we can agree that Timmins simply knows many things that we do not.
Crisp, to me, seems like a similar type of pick. Only this time, his upside is more along the lines of a Chris Neil type of player.

If we can develop Crisp into another Neil, I'd think we'd all be very happy with that.
