Jets acquire Tlusty as well ... I wonder if we should have a general trade deadline thread for all the upcoming moves to be put in.
Carolina gets 2016 3rd and conditional 6th this year/

Winnik goes for prospect Zach Sill, 2016 2nd and 4th in 2015. That is A LOT.

So where is this Maple Leaf "blow up" the media keeps telling us about? So far, all they have dumped are pending FA's. They were never the problem.

It's good Winnik is off the market ... means we can turn the page on the media speculation ...
Cheers.

Kings trying to shore up a leaky defense. Wonder what year the first is for?
In interesting sideline to the Patrick Kane injury. By putting him on the Disabled list, it frees up a lot of cap space. Theoretically, I think, the Hawks could add someone on a terminal contract and then have Kane come back in time for the playoffs and be even stronger. The CAP does not apply in the Playoffs. It has to be somone who'll be a UFA July 1, so that means a Jagr or Vermette is possible where it may not have been earlier. I don't think they'd go for Jagr, who'll slow down the team, but Vermette might be a possible, since they're not that strong down the middle. Richards is their #2 centre and he's had a decent year offensively, but could be improved upon IMO.

If they don't it's a first next year. McKeown, the prospect, was a top 50 pick last year.

The Kings gave up some potential to land this guy ... a first and a potential puck-moving defenseman in McKeown ... he plays here in Kingston and I really thought he'd develop quicker ... he may/may not turn out ...
Cheers.

Can he come back or not? I guess they don't know so gave up the 1st rounder.

Big year for the Panthers, they need to drum up interrest in hopes to keep the team there.

Go Panthers Go.
I guess this will stop the perennial trade deadline rumours of Jagr to the Habs.
Nathan Horton for David Clarkson.
Toronna tank mode full on lol.
