Nice ceremony, very touching to see how PK reacted. However, the broadcast's obsession on PK was quite over the top. It made CBC's weekly love-in with Austin Matthews pale by comparison.
Glad this game has finally come and gone. Now we can focus on our team, making the playoffs, and having a successful playoff run.
All the best PK, but first and foremost...Go Habs Go!!

I would love to know what honestly was going through Therrien's head last night assuming he watched the ceremony. A little more compassion and understanding from MT and a little less ego and more compromise from PK and they would probably have both been Montreal Canadiens last night.

I would love to know what honestly was going through Therrien's head last night assuming he watched the ceremony. A little more compassion and understanding from MT and a little less ego and more compromise from PK and they would probably have both been Montreal Canadiens last night. MT probably said 'I'm glad I'm not there' because I don't think they would have won the 4 games they've won under CJ if MT was still there. I also think if MT (and MB) had shown PK more support (Olympics) PK might have made his donation to the Children's hospital through the Canadians foundation as opposed to doing it on his own... that's just my opinion though... but unfortunately nobody won in this divorce... Weber ended up on a team he probably didn't want to be on and the same can be said of PK... also MB will be judged on this success of this trade.

IMO, Subban was one of the very few last year who maintained a solid effort through it all. Yes, one of the few players who didn't mail it in ... Cheers.

PK +2 in a hard fought win over the Caps. Sigh.

PK +2 in a hard fought win over the Caps. Sigh. Leadership. And PK does not get the offensive zone starts and pp time he did in MTL... Josi gets those. PK is doing what his coach wants regardless of his personal achievements ... in the games I've seen he's going against the other teams best.

Whaddya know? The Habs couldn't score....they're out.
The Preds swept Chicago with Subban doing a solid job on Toews, by all reports.
Subban comes up big offensively in Game 1 in St. Louis....they're 5th in a row.
Post-game, Subban said it's the best leadership group he's ever played with.
Marinaro, for topic's sake, is posing the question, "Was that a shot at Montreal, or just a typical pump-the-team-tires comment?"
Let's try to continue all talk here.....

Milbury“He’s got a tremendous personality and sometimes you’ve got to keep it under control. I know it’s a new day and age and everybody wants to be on Instagram or Twitter. But you’ve got to keep focus. This is a tough game. When I see this I start to think maybe (Predators coach) Peter Laviolette ought to give him a rap on the head and say, ‘Hey P.K. focus in, we’ve got a game tonight and you don’t have to be a clown out there.’”

It pointed out to Milbury that acting like a clown is going up into the crowd and beating a fan with their own shoe.

Perfect response, GM sticks up for his player firmly, if only Bergy and co. had done the same here instead of trying to make it a character issue.

Charges were dropped but it sounds like some were not happy about it. Not sure if he came back to CBC. www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/milbury-charges-dropped/

Nice find WD. Nashville is a town that celebrates and embraces big personalities. PK fits right in. I'm not the least bit surprised that fans are behind him there, or savvy enough to know that Milbury's an idiot. This isn't a new expansion team. It's their 19th season. They embraced the team from the start, learned the game, and have a great atmosphere for games.

I guess every player who goes to the dressing room after getting hit should get a fine then?

I guess every player who goes to the dressing room after getting hit should get a fine then? Must be why Crosby didn't go to the locker room after running into the boards ... He didn't want to get fined.
