Looked up the year. 1965.
Beliveau was 34. Henri was 29.
In the midst of winning Cups 6 and 7 together.
Big Jean scored the '65 Cup winner 14 seconds into Game 7 vs. Chicago.
Pocket scored the '66 Cup winner 2:20 into OT, Game 6, in Detroit.
Getting Fergie on the roster turned that edition around.

Glad to read this one ... many of his detractors either don't know about PK Subban's philanthropy, or don't care to ... the PK Subban Foundation also donated money to provide lunches to workers at the Montreal Children's Hospital ... Jeff Petry and his wife also created a $2,500/tab at two Montreal restaurants to feed heath-care staff in Montreal ... link ... Cheers. |
