A big 6-2 win by the Rocket in Winnipeg versus the Moose yesterday. They are back in action today, in a rare morning matchup.
Some of the key goals:
Mailloux with his third.
Roy gets one after a few games of not getting on the scoresheet.
Davidson returns from injury and scores his first pro goal.
And Farrell on the PP.

Struble also left the bench and got involved in a melee after the final buzzer. He got some serious chops in here. The league handed him three games for his actions however. He starts his 3 game suspension today in the game that is just underway.

Make that two for two in less than 24 hours in Winnipeg. Roy and Farrell and finding some nice chemistry right now. 5-2 final for the good guys.
Mailloux with an assist by starting the play with a smart quick pass to lead the drive up the ice.

Put it on the Laval game, end of the 2nd and laval is getting pumped 4-0... Arber can learn how to lose in Montreal, no need to go to Laval... Is Houle the right coach for this team because they are tied for 2nd last in the AHL (5-11-3).
Edit: they lost 5-0, Belleville scored into an empty net while shorthanded... wow... they are now 5-12-3 and have played more games than any of the crappy teams they are tied with

Laval beat Utica for the second game straight, this time in a shootout. They sneak back into playoff conversation in the final divisional spot for now. Xhekaj and Mailloux have been a great pairing. Here is X to Mailloux for another goal today. Some concern with Farrell and a few others not finishing the game. Hopefully not further injury woes.

Nice, enjoy, Dis. I hope the Rocket can put another one in the win column.
I doubt that twig, scrub Saulnier will want round two with the Sheriff. My son and I chuckled watching the dudes on Belleville banging on the boards while the beatdown took place because any sane person would know they were all privately thinking thank god it is not me in his skates getting pulverized.

Dobeš with the win last night. He has really settled down of late, and is playing much more consistently.
Myšák with the 2 g 1 a night. He suffers the same fate with Houle as Ylönen does with Marty. Always relegated to fourth line minutes playing with scrubs, but still looks good with his limited ice time.

Saulnier with the baby hens hits our goalie and only 5 minutes, no misconduct... his coach benched him as soon as he got out of the box...
