On a recent TO zone exit Reaves carried the puck to centresnd shot it in as Xhekaj shoved him and then stared at him. Reaves skated away. We didn’t need blood.

PK not the best. Savard has trouble getting to loose pucks first - Suzuki shouldn’t be wasted on a PK, etc.

On that P K, Savard has so little ability with his hands that he takes the route of what he does best, freezing the puck on the boards and of course we lose possession and it’s a goal.

I asked Arpon Basu on an AMA today about Marty’s coaching and that he might be focusing on confidence boosting but that I was concerned about defensive positioning. He agreed that might be the case. It’s in full display tonight. Leafs have too much time and space in our zone. Marty will have to concentrate on that at some point or we’re never going anywhere

Savard, swimming as usual. Has the puck at centre after a good interception and has an open man back at his own blue line but chooses to backhand it to the Leafs who bring it back and cycle forever.
Later , he blocks a shot, is laying down awkwardly, and a teammate comes to grab the puck. Savard panics and kicks it away right to a Leaf and they cycle forever again. Sheesh what a doorknob he is.
