RDS will televise both games and the Habs will stream live on their socials.
I will post the link to watch the stream once they post it, as not everyone has RDS to be able to watch it on tv.

Florian getting involved early. Habs on PK after one D made a poor decision. Wrist shot from point, 1-0 Leafs.

Habs getting cycled in their own end a lot. One impression os that in general, our speed is not as good as their speed. Pressure has been put on D doe to lack of good enough backchecking.

The Leafs should be in the same boar but they get out of their own zine much more smoothly than Habs.

Engstrom had been having a rough game, but pinches at the right time, takes a pass and snipes the far corner. 1-1. Hopefully this loosens everyone up. Most haven’t played in this atmosphere with this size a crowd. Engstrom still getting acclimated to smaller ice.

And....I'm blacked out on RDS.
So much for getting Habs game for 5 bucks. I'm not going to spend $220 for center ice.

Habs playing a bit faster now. Engstrom playing more confidently. Cowan and Minten have looked good for TO. Still looking out of position in the defensive zone.

Another pp for TO another goal. Lucky one as centering pass goes off defenders stick and changes direction. Richard in goal. Who’s he?
First over.

Mailloux being interviewed between periods (he's wearing the C). My french is weak, but the last part I caught, I suspect he was asked bout the game so far and I think he said that the guys haven't played together, it's early and otherwise it's good. Isn't that the usual reply to such a question at the beginning of a season?

More observations. We have too many small forwards who get overwhelmed and they’re not fast enough to overcome the size issue. Nice pass from Mailloux to Heineman to set up a 2 on 1 and Heineman doesnt score of course.

Richard leaves a lot to be desired. If it’s Blake Richard, he’s small for a goalie.

What I’m seeing so far os a definite lack of scoring ability up front. No forward seems to be able to beat others 1 on 1 which would create space. Savoie is not up to this level of play.
Hutson looks good but most of the rest of the team can’t think to his level or he’d look even better.
On to the power play, finally.

Thorpe showing both sides. Good shot on the goal. Poor hands create a turnover in our zone.
In general, the forward group is yucky. No wonder Laval couldn’t score last year. It’s worse in this camp of course because of the later tound picks and invitees. I hope Savoie and some others never see a Habs uni again. Hutson, Mailloux, Engstrom look good. Rein has been ok. Leafs goalie lets a Beck shot sneak through. Beck has a heavy shot but that should have been stopped.
The D, as expected, is standing out (except for the 3rd pair). The forwards not so much.

First off, I'm watching it on a tablet with lots of blurring numbers...but here goes.
Totally unimpressed by our forwards. They break in and scratch their butts on what to do.
The ONLY impressive play was Hutson doing his Hutson thing and setting up a goal.
Otherwise nobody seems to have any vision on how to hold the puck until there is a play to be made.
Our power play is as atrocious as the big club. Complete chaos. Even when Mailman and Hutson out there, no scoring IQ from the forwards.
