well that was a nice game to watch Glad you had a good time ... I grew up in Ottawa but kept my loyalty to the Habs ... fun fact; Ottawa fans are the easiest to take out of a game, more so when their team is losing ... it's always good beating the Senators, but more importantly, we've got to start winning more divisional games ... it's a tough division ... Mike Matheson (25:40 TOI) made some mistakes, still he had a good game ... Emil Heineman also had a good game despite playing only 9:27 TOI ... Lane Hutson was very noticeable last night ... his feet never stop moving ... Cole Caufield with four goals already ... me thinks that they'll eventually have to make room for Logan Mailloux ... Nick Suzuki with 19:10 TOI, which was tops amongst the forwards ... a red-hot start to the season for Sam Montembeault ... Cheers. |

Someone needs to tell Monty he only needs to play like that 79 more times Only an opinion, but despite being outplayed by the Bruins, I thought the team could have stolen that game had Sam Montembeault been between the pipes ... it didn't take him long to find his 'strike zone' this season ... Cheers. |

Cheers. Well...we can win any game if we get prime Jesus Price goaltending. But we certainly were not going to win with how badly we were outplayed. I don't know if it was one game or the Booins are that good, but that game reminded me of the old Smurf Habies were we got pushed around at will. Their defenseman are BIG and TOUGH and they played like that when we tried to crowd the net or cycle down low. It was a well deserved loss...but their 8 million dollar goalie didn't show his value. As much as that game was a deserved loss, yesterdays game was a well deserved win. Hens don't have a good defense and it showed. |

My point was, Sam Montembeault is playing great right now ... Good comparison ... I never knew just how big the Bruin defence corps was until one of the talking heads brought it up in the pregame show ... Kind of reminds me of what late Senators owner, Eugene Melnyk, said about the Leafs rebuild ... if only he were alive to see this on his team ... He's not an 8 million dollar defenseman. One thing I noticed last night, their "Captain" Tkachuk was mocking Hutson like a 12 year old, which I thought was grossly childish. All he had to do is look at the scoreboard and how badly his team was behind before making a stupid take. I can't imagine Suzuki of Weber doing that. Actually, NONE of or Captains and maybe a few players...whose job would of been to mock/annoy him. The Hens are going nowhere fast with his "leadership". |

They played us after being outworked by a pumped up Panther team 2 days earlier and we were tired after a tough Leaf game where we chased the puck a lot. Sayman's holding them in there. If he misses any time, or if he gets played 60+ games because Korpisalo is a sieve (and has 3 years left after this one at a silly salary), he'll wear out. |

Hens recall goalie from ahl because ullmark is injured... I guess the 4 goals scored on him hurt his feelings I thought he might have hurt himself on Newhook’s goal. He was awful slow to get over, and on the replay, it looks like he got tied up with his defenseman (maybe). |
