I believe it was JV who said Charron was decent enough to take over..
I'll try to dig up his post... I remember the title was ''let's get to know Guy Charron''
either way, the Burzotic era is OVER!!!

All I remember is Doc stating that Charron has essentially never been anything more than an assistant coach on losing teams....
This is what I didn't want to see..... now if AS makes a few moves to improve chemistry, the team might play decently for the rest of the season, after which it'll be awful hard to get rid of Charron....
Not exactly the Hartley or the Robinson people were hoping !!!

Hopefully it is just on a interim basis. But didn't Charron take a horrible Ducks team and turn them into merely mediocre 2 years ago?

Finally!
No more 234324 Fire Therrien messages per day!
But now it will be Fire Savard since i don't think a new coach will change anything on the ice.
The problem is the players, not the coaching staff.

I think "interim" truly applies in this situation. Guy Charron will not be coaching the Habs next year. I think it's the smart thing to let Charron coach out the season, and work during the summer to get the right man in there.
This is good news.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can actually start watching games again.
Don't get used to Charron, he's just interim. You've got to name someone coach, he's just "someone" for now.
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will say it again!
Game 4 against Carolina was the turning point.
That's when the majoirty of the players started hating Therrien and not respecting him.
Now...Julien or Charron?
