Dynamo Moscow vs. Avangard OMSK 2:2 OT Februry 22nd, 2003, Moscow
Goals: 0:1 Vlasak (Rozin, 27.40). 0:2 Perezhogin (38.48). 1:2 Starostenko (Razin, 50.03). 2:2 Kuvaldin (Ovechkin, Semak, 50.34).
Prospect Notes: Los Angeles Kings goaltending prospect Alexei Volkov made his fourth start in a row and though he wasn’t perfect, he did hold one of the best offenses in Russia to only two goals. The first goal was largely his fault
Keep scoring kid! ;D

Milroy keeps ratcheting it up. The Ice snapped Kelowna's 24 game undefeated streak tonight 6-4. Milroy in on 4 goals. Three assists to go with one goal. Almost like he decided to end it on his own. At this rate, he'll earn a contract.

Lelthbridge beat the Ice 4-3, but rack up another goal and 2 assists for Duncan. On fire, I say.

Damn, wreck on the tracks. Josh Georges, a good prospect on Kelowna Rockets, tried to do eye surgery on Duncan last night with a hockey stick. Not intentional from the sounds of it, but still wasn't in command of his stick. Milroy suffered a fractured cheekbone. He tried to come out for the 3rd period but couldn't manage (no kidding!). Early indications are he should be back for the playoffs. Man, was he rolling or what? He's normally very durable, but not much you can do about sticks in your face, except wear a full face shield.

Unfortunately, cheekbones can play a substantial role in how the eye sees, as it's part of the socket. How did he look before he got hurt, Marc?

I only caught the 2nd and since the Ice were always hemmed in their zone during that period I can't really make a report on how he played...

Fragment of interview of Konstantin Korneev: Journalist : Whether there is at you a desire to repeat rather successful experience of your former clubmates Anton Volchenkov and Alexander Frolov in lines of players NHL. If "yes", as soon you plan to carry out it? K.K.:I think, that all over again it is necessary "to get stronger" in teams of RSL to receive experience of game in Russia, and already then to try the forces in NHL.
