If I am MB, I am placing a call with Florida. Like I'll take Huberdeau and Reimer off your hands and you can have my Conditional first (if we make playoffs), a second round pick, a B level prospect and Lekhonen. I am taking back some contracts so they free up money and space for Columbus players this summer. Given the season Huberdeau is having, his affordable contract, and his youth, I don't think the go there. Hoffman? Yes.

Tradecentre has been on since 8am... must be boring as anything... they have 3 groups of 4 people in the studio I think

I must be missing something with Mark Stone (granted I don't watch many Ottawa games). It seems as though he's being valued as an elite top line winger, where prior to this year his career highs are closer to the baseline of what you'd expect from a top line winger (26 goals & 64 points). Good numbers, but not elite.

Will anyone show up to Sens games anymore? What a gong show.
Brannstrom is a very good defensive prospect. Saw him live at the WJC this year. But he is small. And he won't help right away.

Good numbers, but not elite. It's his complete game package and IQ that intrigue people. He's a possession monster. He steals more pucks than anyone. It's on his stick a lot. He's not fast, but he gets to the scoring areas efficiently. TSN touching on perhaps a key note: VGK may have worked to get the framework of an extension in place like they did with Pacioretty. We'll see.

Brannstrom is a really nice piece. I suppose Lindbergh is immediately top six on the Sens' devastated roster, but he is a UFA and would be lucky to play third line on most teams in the league.
It is interesting that McPhee avoided adding another pick in the event that Stone signs there.
Kekalainen, for instance, tossed in that extra first rounder for Duchene knowing full well, I believe, that Duchene is not staying.

Oh for sure. The Stone traffic is killing them. They're in the painful process of passing a stone. Stone Age. Impartially, they've got some good young pieces. Chabot, Brannstrom, White, Formenton, Tkachuk; that's a good group to build around.
